Bible Baptist Church is an organized church plant out of Calvary Baptist Church in Knob Noster, MO (Whiteman Air Force Base). With God’s call and the sending authority of this church (Acts 13), Jeff Hastings came to Columbia with his family to establish Bible Baptist Church in 2004. The church met in the Days Inn for one year before renting an old church building on Hwy WW and continuing there for six years.

The work was organized in April of 2010 as an autonomous independent Baptist church. We called Jeff Hastings to be our first pastor during the organization service. On Oct 30th, 2012, God allowed us to purchase a beautiful property and building of our own at 4275 E. Hwy WW, where we are currently located.

We have seen the Lord bless in so many ways in establishing this work. Souls have been saved,  and people have been baptized and discipled, resulting in spiritual and numerical growth. God has called other men to preach and they are currently training in our church's Bible Institute to prepare for the day when they, like their pastor before them, will be sent out to minister in a mission field of the Lord's choosing.

We anticipate great things for this young Bible-believing, family-oriented Baptist church, and we look forward to God enabling us to plant other New Testament Baptist churches out of Bible Baptist Church of Columbia, MO.
